YubiKey authenticator now also works with iOS version LastPass

YubiKey users with an iPhone 7 or newer running on iOS 11 can authenticate to the LastPass app via NFC. Where LastPass already supported the YubiKey NEO on Android for a long time.

Recently, Apple has decided to make NFC accessible to other iOS developers, so that support of devices like the YubiKey is now also possible on this platform. With the launch of iOS 11 the reading of nfc tags is supported.

iPhone users can use the YubiKey NEO by tapping on the iPhone to wirelessly transfer a Yubico OTP and securely authenticate it with the application.
