How It Works

Passwordless authentication eliminates phishing and other social engineering attacks, as hackers have no passwords to steal. Physical possession of the DIGIPASS FX1 BIO is required to access an online service.

Connect your DIGIPASS FX1 BIO key to any device via USB, NFC, or Bluetooth and scan your fingerprint on the DIGIPASS FX1 BIO fingerprint sensor. It’s that simple.

The passwordless login method is based on FIDO2, an open standard supported by Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, and relies on public key cryptography.

Credentials are never exposed to the network and can be further protected with a PIN and optionally a fingerprint as a second factor, if required by the web service.

Log in to Windows, Microsoft Azure AD 365, and any FIDO2-enabled service.

DIGIPASS FX1 BIO replaces the username and password combination for logging into Windows 10, the cloud version of Microsoft Azure AD 365, and any FIDO2-enabled web service—including those offered by various IAM providers.

Easy to set up

DIGIPASS FIDO FX1 BIO is a hardware device with Bluetooth and NFC support that can connect to your mobile device or laptop via USB. Setup via PC is simple: just plug the device into your computer using USB. For Bluetooth connection, pair the device with the mobile phone, PC, or platform you want to connect to.

During the initial setup, you'll be prompted to set a PIN and register your fingerprint. Once the PIN is set, you can log in to any FIDO2-enabled service. No additional drivers are required, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience—resulting in higher user adoption.
