FAQ

Does this work with all phones and tablets?

Yes. Select the correct model for your device: USB-A → USB-A or USB-C → USB-C. Our data blockers work with iPhones, iPads, and Android devices that charge via USB. (Note: If you're using a USB-C to Lightning cable, select the USB-C model on the charger/port side.)

Can I still charge?

Absolutely. The power lines continue to flow, only the data lines are blocked. So your device charges, but no data is exchanged.

Is it safe for my device?

Yes. A data blocker only allows power to pass through and prevents data signals from reaching your device. This helps protect against "juice-jacking" on public USB ports, without risking your battery or device.

What exactly does a data blocker block?

All data communication via USB (such as file transfers, synchronization, and control signals) is prevented. This prevents an unknown port from accessing your device.

Does this work with CarPlay/Android Auto, USB audio, or data accessories?

No. Because data is blocked, functions that require data (CarPlay/Android Auto, USB audio, tethering, file transfer) won't work when the data blocker is in place. Remove the data blocker if you want to use those functions.

What is the difference between your USB-A and USB-C models?

Functionally the same (blocking data, allowing power to pass through), but tailored to the connector. Choose the model that matches the port you're plugging into (e.g., the charger in an airplane, hotel, or train seat).

Do you also deliver to private individuals?

Yes. Individuals can simply order individually through our webshop.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. You can order an unprinted sample individually through the webshop. Printed/logoed samples are available upon request.

Do you offer printing/branding?

Yes. We can apply your corporate identity logo (multi-color or single-color), including proof for approval. Ideal as a giveaway or corporate gift.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for printed orders?

The MOQ for printed B2B orders is 100 pieces per model/color.

How long is the delivery time for larger orders?

Depending on print run and printing. Expect 1–2 weeks after artwork approval.

In which situations is a data blocker especially useful?

Public USB ports in airports, hotels, trains, conferences, rental offices, shared offices, or when charging from someone else's computer or power bank.

Do I still need a cable?

Yes. The data blocker is a small adapter; you use your own charging cable as usual.
